Late ovulation?

Hey all...
Last night someone told me that my eggs might be bad because I just recently found through my new Ava bracelet that I ovulate on day 18 of my cycle (my cycle is always 28 days). Is this true? Has anyone ever heard that before?

Hi, It doesn’t matter what day you ovulate, just that your period starts 12-14 days after ovulation. I am very similar to you. I ovulate around day 18-20 and cycle is 28-30 days, so I have a luteal phase defect (fancy way of saying short luteal phase). As a result, I am having infertility issues, basically my body isn’t giving a fertilized egg enough time to implant. I have been seeing an RE since January, the doctor said a luteal phase defect is an easy fix, so that’s promising!! I started Letrezole 2 months ago and did an IUI this month.

I wouldn't think they would be bad? I have a very irregular cycle and am just now ovulating on day 29. I'm just making the assumption I'll get my period in two weeks, since that's the length of a typical luteal phase.
