I don't feel like il be taken care of

I'm about 8 weeks along and I haven't had a prenatal appointment because it seems the clinic I'm at doesn't care/is too full. I asked my PCM if I could get an off post refferal because 1) I live 20 minutes from the on base hospital (she didn't give me one) and 2) my mother has a genetic heart condition and I'm worried the army isn't too concerned about it. I was told I would only have two prenatal appointments with an ultrasound, and I'm completely in the dark on when I can get others. Anyone know if this is the run of the mill military treatment for pregnancy? We were at Ft Carson when my friend was pregnant and it seemed better....I'm seriously confused.
