My OPK was positive!! WHAT HAPPENED!!??😭😱

why did I have such a short LH surge??? Yesterday Positive today IS Negative but today is supposed to be Ovulation day !! Was it a failed Ovulation attempt ??? 
This is the same thing that happened to me last month.

Ok ok. Clearblue expert here. First things first. There’s no such thing as a short surge. We always have LH in our bodies. Always. Any time of any cycle. It’s just that before ovulation it peaks. It’s not like a switch, that goes on then off. LH surge doesn’t “disappear” like that. 
Second: you shouldn’t interpret the lines on those opks. Digital will always have 2 lines. You should stick with the results the reader gave you. Those are the valid results. Digitals takes the guessing game away from lines on opks and I guess that’s why you chose digital in the first place, right?
Third: I’m also going to guess here that you are using two different readers. Because with the clearblue digital opks once they detect the surge the reader shows the solid smiley face for 72 hours straight and then reset itself. 
So from that I realized you used a second test. 
Then there’s the problem. When testing with a new reader, it will always gives you a low fertility the first time you rest. 
ALWAYS. It will start then to “learn” your cycle. So it doesn’t matter that you got a peak yesterday. If you started a new one today for the first time, it will always show low fertility. 
I even called Clearblue about this. 
Anyways, so here’s what you should do:
1-dont year with two readers. If you do, you have to start using them together at the same time. 
2-dont read the lines in the back of those tests. Just don’t. If you love reading lines, go back to normal opks. Digital Clearblue doesn’t work that way. 
3-you had your surge. LH had its peak yesterday and you should get busy 
4-remember that LH is always in your body. 
5- LH surge doesn’t mean you are ovulating. It means you’re about to, 6-36 hours after the surge. 
6- just because you got an LH surge doesn’t mean you will ovulate. It’s normal for women to have an anovulatory cycle. LH surges but the follicle fails to release an egg. Sucks. Big. Time. But it can happen and it’s normal. Research shows that every woman has at least one anovulatory cycle each year.
