Iron via Whole Foods instead of supplements for 6+ months and older?

I’m choosing not to supplement iron in my breastfed baby and instead will give her iron rich whole foods (not iron fortified cereals). She loves everything so far, including liver. How much of what foods do other moms give their little ones? I was thinking liver once a week, egg yolks 3x a week and random grass fed meats throughout the week as well since we tend to eat this sort of thing a lot. We pair the iron rich foods with fruits or veggies high in vitamin c for better absorption. Any one have any other suggestions?
