So I’m in L&D; right now for blood pressure issues. I’ve been on the monitors for a little while and my midwife comes in and says “Do you feel those contractions you’re having every 3 minutes?” I just looked at her like “uhhhh no?” 😂

But I’m only 1cm dilated so I don’t think we’re having a baby just yet. I just thought it was hilarious.

Update: the contractions got stronger, but spaced out and didn’t cause much additional dilation so they sent me home. My blood pressure settled down after they laid me on my side for a while and I have no other markers for preeclampsia, so now we just wait some more! I’m only 36+2 so we still have time. As ready as I am to meet her, she can bake a little longer!
