I’m getting married in August and we’re getting ready to send out invites.

I have a friend that I sent a save the date to because she’s part of a friend group of mine where I’m closer to the other two girls but thought it would be weird not to include her. I heard from one of my friends that she was asking if she (the friend I’m close to) was planning on coming to my wedding. Which makes me think she didn’t think much about being invited.

As time goes on, I realize we’ve really grown apart and the other girls in the friend group don’t talk to her much either. I haven’t spoken to her in over a year at this point.

Question now is, would it be super rude not to send an invitation now that’s she’s got a save the date? I’d just rather give her seat to someone I actually talk to...
