Nail fungus?

I can’t tell if this is nail fungus or not. My two big toes are yellowed but they cracked in the middle...I’ve been using something for nail fungus but it hasn’t worked. Idk if that’s what it is or I just never took nail polish off and it damaged them?? Idk

The crack and the yellow can be an indication of fungus, but also other things. My toe nail had a crack in the middle and I went to the podiatrist. He told me it was probably because I push my feet to the front of my sneakers and it stops and starts nail growth, causing cracks. They did a test to make sure there wasn’t fungus so maybe you could get that test done.

A lot of nail fungus can be treated by taking certain medications and/or vitamins.

It really just looks like the nail is stained, but if you are worried I would go to the podiatrist to make sure, that way i it is a fungus then they can treat it before it gets really bad.
