Artificial insemination at home

I wanted to know has anyone tried artificial insemination at home with success. Me and my husband have been trying for over an year to get pregnant. He has erectile dysfunction, and we missed many chances (months) when i am ovulating. Can someone share their success story or any information or insight they have on insemination at home?
