Pain in arm.

So for the past couple days my arm has been hurting. I know it’s not the outer part of my arm and it’s not muscle pain..it’s nerve pain. I know it’s nerve pain because it is similar to when I would get nerve pain if I move my neck too fast or leave it in a position for too long. On day one, it wasn’t hurting very much and I was able to tolerate it. It was fine I thought it would go away the next day. Day two it was the same way but hurt a little more and thought it would just go away. Day three it hurts even more and I can’t straighten my arm, or lift it up and try to straighten it. I can’t lean on my elbow without pain. When I lift it up and slowly try to straighten it, my arm goes weak like it was too heavy. I took ibruprofen to try and ease the pain and straighten my arm slowly but it didn’t work. Pain continued. Today is the fourth day and the pain feels even worse. I tried massaging it and straightening it slowly and it left me in even more pain. I felt the pain last night as I was sleeping and I either straighten my arm in my sleep or sleep at an angle (similar to a right angle) nothing is working. My parents are telling me to elevate it and keep trying to stretch it but I can’t. I feel as if it’s a pinched nerve but why is it still continuing? Yesterday at work, I moved it too fast and the pain shot through my arm and left my hand and fingers numb for a minute. Any suggestions? It is not red and i don’t think it is swollen.
