Is this cheating?!

My best friend (guy)is going through something kinda bad at the moment.My boyfriend wasn't at school today so I was just looking after my friend (hugging him).My boyfriend knows we're good friends and doesn't mind so he would have been totally fine with this.But at the end of the day my friend just started crying so I gave him a huge hug and then I just kissed him on the cheek.It was only a peck but I feel bad and I can't work out if I should tell my boyfriend or not.

Btw, loads of people think I like my friend,but I really don't.We just get on so well and he's really funny but I don't like him in that way at all.
