How many oz for a 3 month old?

How many oz of breast milk did/is your 3 month old take(ing)? I'm going to be going back to work once he is 3 months and I want to make sure I tell my mom the proper amount to offer him. He is currently 2 months and has been taking 4 oz since he was a month old. Should I increase it to 5oz or 4oz still okay? During the day he sometimes wants to nurse every 1.5hrs but nights he can go 2.5-3hrs. So idk if he nurses that often because he just isnt getting full?

My daughter was drinking 3oz every 3 hours at that age. Be sure to pace feed and you don’t need to increase the amount like formula babies. If baby is content, the amount is fine. Even at 12 months old, my daughter was drinking 4.5oz of breastmilk each feeding.

My 5 month old twins get 4.5-5oz of breastmilk at daycare every 3 hours or so. At first they were only taking about 3 ounces around 3 months. Just depends on the baby!

Don’t increase it like a formula fed baby.
What we did at daycare was they tried out 2 ounces andnworked their way up.
He is perfect at 3.5 ounces every 2 hours.
Sometimes it’s less but theg just keep kenposted to his eating habits

I read somewhere about breastfed babies only needing 4ozs at a time. You don’t need to increase it like formula. Idk how true that is...
