So I got an epidural for my childbirth on Friday the 4th because I’m a pansy ass when it comes to pain, but little did I know I would be rushed to an emergency c section because of baby’s cord being wrapped around his neck.

Anyways, not the point. The point is I’ve had a horrible headache since we got discharged Sunday and it went away yesterday with the lain meds but came back again last night full force and hasn’t subsided. I do know the anesthesiologist told me she put the medicine in a little too far, which worries me.

I’m just wondering, have any of you ladies had to go back to the hospital to get a blood patch done over your epidural? I’ve done a lot of research on it and apparently the leaking of the cerebral spinal fluid is what causes the headache, and it’s important that it gets treated. Honestly I’m scared as crap because I don’t like needles, but if I have to get this blood patch done so that I’m able to actually sit up properly without crippling over in pain, then I’ll do it... plus I need to be able to sit up for my LO, he breast feeds.
