Can I practice inserting and removing a menstrual cup if I’m not on my period?

Bought a menstrual cup and I want to practice using it. My period is due in two weeks.

Answer

You can practice when you’re not on your period. I did with mine and it helped me when I did have my period. Just make sure you lube it up real good, coz it won’t be as slippery as it normally would be if you had your period. And just keep in mind that even if you don’t get it open, but you get it in that’s good start especially when you’re on your period. It definitely makes it easier when you have your period.
