I want to use my breast pump to attempt to start contractions, but what if colostrum comes out? Isn’t that wasting the food that my baby will need? I need advice!

You can collect your colostrum in a syringe and freeze it to bring to the hospital to supplement feedings with! You’ll keep producing colostrum and your actual milk won’t come in until a few days post birth

You can collect it but it’s not like there is a limited supply and you’re gona be wasting it! You will still make colostrum for 2-3 days after delivering before your milk actually comes in don’t worry 🙂
