please help, will my baby be okay?

i left my sister with my 5 month old and my baby wouldn’t stop crying so my sister (who i thought i could trust) found a binky under my bed that legit has been there on the dirty hardwood floor with all the bugs and germs and trash for two months. i’m so stressed out now i just want my baby to be okay. any advice?? am i worrying too much or not enough?

Baby is most likely fine and you shouldn't worry too much. Now is a good time to start making sure nothing is left in the floor that you don't want in baby's mouth since crawling can start that early.

I think you can worry as much as you like! But I wouldn't be as worried about the baby as much as I'd be mad at the sister for giving the baby a dirty blanket - who the hell thinks that's a good idea?!

Your baby isn't going to die from using a pacifier that fell on the floor. Moms need to stop freaking out over germs 😂 even when my daughter drops hers in public, it's typically just rinsed off in a sink and I give it right back to her. At home, it doesn't get rinsed at all if it hits the floor. She's now a very happy and HEALTHY 11 month old 🤷🏻‍♀️
