Pants or shorts? Read description

Question

This is the weather where I live. Should I put 18 month old in shorts and t shirt or pants and T-shirt? We obviously aren’t playing outside due to rain but we’re running some errands and then playing in the house. When we leave I’ll put a lightweight hoodie on him. What do you think? High of 72

I would do pants, since it's still 57, and it's only predicting a high of 72. but a light pair.

Pants. I’m a few hours away from Milwaukee and have an 18 month old. Today she will wear pants and a T-shirt and if we leave the house I’ll put a light jacket on her. I always have a spare outfit in her diaper bag too just in case something comes up!

It is 90 here and my 1 year old is in pants and a short sleeve onesie, more comfortable for crawling around inside

Pants. Rain always makes it seem cooler. 
I just dress baby how I am dressed. I know I’m not comfortable in shorts until it’s at least mid/high 70’s and sunny. 
Also, I find layers to be very helpful during this time of year. 
And lastly, when in doubt I just pack an extra outfit (ex: think it might get hot later? Put baby in pants now and bring shorts for later just in case).
