Hey guys, I have an ultrasound to check my cervix next week and I'll be 17 weeks. I know they can see the baby through the transvaginal ultrasound, but was wondering if they could see enough to tell the gender? I'm dying to know and would otherwise have to wait another 4 weeks until my anatomy scan to find out! Could I ask them to check? Would they do so or not? Thanks in advance!

Update: So halfway through the transvaginal ultrasound I asked if they could tell the gender through there. They said no BUT they offered to do a quick tummy scan to check the gender! You don't understand how elated I was to surprisingly get to find out four weeks earlier than intended, I couldn't stop smiling!
