I did oatmeal because it’s better than just baby cereal, has more iron and stuff.  But I mixed with water since I hardly pumped and just breastfed.

You can use breast milk, water or formula milk it’s up to you. Oh and btw don’t let anyone tell you you are doing wrong for feeding your baby cereal. Your baby your decision. I had to feed baby cereal (or rice as called in the UK) due to baby not putting weight on. This was at 4 months.
