TTC with A- blood type - advice?

Question

I was wondering if there’s anything you need to do to prepare while TTC with A- blood? Or do I just wait until I (fingers crossed) get pregnant and get my shots?

Only if your partner has rh positive blood and it only matters when pregnant. If your partner is rh positive and you’re rh negative, baby could have rh positive blood and if it mixes with yours no bueno but it doesn’t affect ttc just when you do get pregnant but if your partner is rh negative no worries!

I’m negative. My husband is positive. Our daughter turned out to be positive too. Just need rhogam shots. Not a big deal

I didn't know I was A- until I conceived, I was supposed to have an injection at 28 weeks and then another after my baby was born depending on their blood type. Thankfully He's A- aswell so I only had to have the one at 28 weeks

My sister has a negative blood type and her husband has a positive blood type. She just got pregnant and then her Dr would give her shots periodically.
