I will refuse induction until 42+ weeks unless a medical need arises (developing pre eclampsia, etc). But as long as baby and I are both healthy I’m not forcing her out.

I was induced at 37 weeks because I developed pre-eclampsia within a week before i was induced! It was a shock, but I was so ready to meet my baby girl I stayed calm. It was a LONG 24 hours before I got to meet her & even with an epidural I felt everything. I believe it wore off or just wasn’t as strong as I thought...I only have one baby, so I can’t say if the pitocin made it worse than naturally going into labor, but even though it did hurt, I could already do it again (I’m only 2 weeks PP lol) either way it is beyond worth it! I also didn’t have to worry about if I was going into labor or if hubby would be working & miss the big show😅 it was nice to be organized & have everyone I wanted there & not be so panicky like I would’ve been if I would’ve gone into labor.

I was really hoping to go into labor naturally but for medical reasons I am being induced on Friday. I’m a little nervous as I would like a natural birth and have heard Pitocin can make it more intense! I’m sending all my positive vibes your way that your little one comes naturally so you don’t need to be induced!

I put yes even though I was induced for medical reasons. I was really hoping that this time I wouldn't develop the ICP this time and get to do it naturally.
