When were you able to sleep through (most) of the night and let your husband do night feedings (with milk you’ve pumped)?

Never. I always nursed. I was on maternity leave. He wasn’t. So I let him sleep so he could go to work.

I breast pumped so my partner could help out with night feeds. Yes their was arguments about him helping out but I didn’t care if he had work the next day, mums need a break too and a decent nights sleep 🙄 but luckily for us, both of ours slept through from 8 weeks. Lol

My husband and I had 16 weeks of maternity/paternity leave after our son was born. We took shifts starting the day we came home from the hospital. He went to bed 8pm and got up at 4am while I stayed up with the baby, then I went to bed 4am till 10/12. Then we were both awake till 8pm. I would pump after every feeding, so he usually had at least 8oz while I slept. It worked perfectly, we both felt well rested.

I let my husband give our son one bottle at night so I could get a five hour sleep stretch. We started about three weeks old. It took a bit for him to accept the bottle but he has no nipple confusion and he is now five months old.

Never, I’d be too engorged to go all night. Early on when we were up every few hrs, my husband would take 1 feed so I could get 1 decent stretch. But now we feed just 1-2 times a night so I just do both, again I’d be too engorged if I didn’t

Having my husband do the middle of the night feeding didn’t work for us bc my breasts became engorged so I’d have to get up to pump anyway (or just be uncomfortable). My husband does do the 1st morning feedings on the weekends though to let me sleep in. He started this around 12 weeks. It’s wonderful!

Not for several months! If you don’t feed them then you have to pump to keep up your supply at that time. It’s a lot easier to just get up and feed them!

Never?! Your milk supply isn’t usually established until three months in, and your baby is still in the fourth trimester - it needs its mama 24-7!
