What does the i in LGBTQIA+ stand for

Does anyone know? I don’t know what it means!
*update* thanks! And can someone tell me what intersex means? Is it like non-binary and genderfluid or is it something else?

Like Dakota and Jace said, intersex can mean having "mismatched" sex features like having both XY and XX chromosomes or XXY chromosomes, having a vagina and testes, having a penis and an ovary.
It can also mean lacking some of the features most people have, or having the same features that are different in size and/or function, like an enlarged clitoris or micropenis, no period or infertile sperm.
Having some of these things doesn't always mean a person is intersex, though, bc there are many reasons for infertility, hormone imbalances, and so on. Also, intersex people are apparently about as common as redheads!

Intersex replaces the old term "hermaphrodte" since it's more complicated than that.  Through a mismatch of chromozomes a person can be born with mixed or "ambiguous" genitalia.  In the past the so called "experts" tried to "correct" things and effectively make things worse.  Sometimes it's not apparent until a child fails to reach puberty.  But contrary to popular belief, no child is actually born with two COMPLETE sets of genitals and regardless, always only has one urethra.
