.... I mean I’m flattered. But at the same time I’m very family orientated and every once in a while my family has a gathering, depending on the occasion and I can never go because he always puts an excuse for it.

I feel like I have to cut ties with my family and friends, just to satisfy him, but why? It’s my family? It’s my friends? I never tell him he can’t see his loved ones...??
