This may just be pregnancy hormones making me crazy. So please tell me if I'm being a psycho pants

My boyfriend got in a motorcycle accident 3 weeks ago, he's fractured some ribs and is off work for a bit. I took a week off work to take care of him and help him with whatever he needed, but I had to go back to work. So he became a lot more mobile on his own and seemingly was doing okay (he's been working on his bike a ton). I always told him if he needs help just ask and I'll be there.

So today I had the day off and I woke up early to make him breakfast in bed to show him how much I love him. He wakes up before I'm done and starts marching around all pissed off. So I asked him what's wrong and he said he's annoyed with the mattress in the hallway (I'm trying to sell it) and I assured him it won't be there much longer. He then tells me I'm a controlling person and that I'm not letting him be his own person. And then took out car and left, he has been gone for over an hour.

I'm currently having a meltdown in our bedroom wondering what I've done wrong.
