I love the actual act of breastfeeding, the bond with LO, but despise everything else that comes with it lol

It was okay, didn’t love it. I did it for my son, but I had a low supply so having to BF then give bottle was a lot! Sometimes it took almost an hour to feed!

There were beautiful, indescribable moments from it. But I also had to go on dietary restrictions for both my LOs and when I was especially exhausted but didn't have much of a supply built, it was hard to be the only one providing nutrition day and night. There were wonderful and difficult things about it just like everything else in parenting. I'm due with another soon and will be doing it again if all goes well. ☺

I absolutely love it, it gets hard working and keeping up with supply but I think it’s so worth all the work and great because the the milk is always warm and ready and my daughter loves it. I love the bond. I love knowing my body is feeding this little life. I thought I’d stop at 6 months and I’m almost at 9 months and don’t know when I’ll feel ready to stop! I highly recommend it or at least doing it for as long as you can. It’s so beneficial and such a great time between mother and child. Not everyone can so if you’re body produces it and you don’t have issues, BF!! I will never regret it. I want to make it til a year and see if how much longer I can go if my supply persists. I am finally weaning my son at 23 months. I love breastfeeding but had a difficult time for the first seven month. I had flat/inverted nipples and breastfeeding was extremely painful and I was even sent to physical therapy to fix my sons latch (although he ate just fine). I experienced painful vaspospasms. It wasn’t until his teeth came in that I had no pain!

I was hardly able to, but on the rare occasions he latched I loved every minute of it. I felt so happy. I tried non-stop for 3 months and he only latched about 10 times.

I love breastfeeding. I lost my milk two months ago due to my second pregnancy and I was so upset that we had to stop. My son is 15 months and I wanted to make it until two. Really the only thing that bothered me was that my son could not sleep without the boob and still woke every hour or two right up until we quit. I still dream about it and get really sad that it's over. But I am excited to begin that journey with my second son in September!

I loved the bond, the ease (relative) and the help in weight loss that breastfeeding gave me. But I was so happy to be done at 13 months! I’m honestly not excited about starting up again in a couple weeks. It’s hard to not have total ownership of your body and the leaking drives me crazy.

Personally, I hate that I can’t get as much done during a day while breastfeeding because of how time consuming it can be and it’s so much easier to make a bottle and hand it over to a baby, but IMO that’s not what’s right for my child 
But the bond & knowing my baby is relying on me makes it all worth it
