FTM- cleaning the potty?

Question

How do you guys clean the potty after they go? Do you dump whatever they made in the toilet and then wash it out in the shower? Or wipe it after with Clorox wipes? 
Gonna start potty training soon so I’m wondering....

I’m not a mom yet but have helped potty train 3. Have them come with you to dump in the toilet, let them flush it (makes it exciting for them) and begin teaching hand washing. Then rinse and wipe with Clorox wipes 😁 Makes it soooo much easier once they transition to the big potty.

My 9 month old goes in the potty every morning after her bottle. I lime it with toilet roll then dump it in the toilet and wipe it with an antibacterial wipe. If it's really messy I'll wash it in the shower but generally lining it does the job.
