My daughter woke up with a new freckle on her face, normal?

My 3 year old daughter woke up with a new (wasn’t there yesterday) freckle on her check. It just looks like a normal, light brown freckle, but it wasn’t there when she went to bed.

We spent a good amount of time on the beach last week, but she wore sunscreen. Should I get this checked out or is this normal? I have freckles but I don’t remember ever getting a new one overnight.

If it matters, she is Russian/Irish/Swedish. She does have very pale skin and (the most beautiful) light blue eyes. I’ve always been worried about her in the sun but now I feel terrible like I hurt her skin by taking her to the beach.
