Late night 👶ðŸ˜
So my 15mth old woke up at 2:40 last night crying. She's my 4th but hubby's first child. It's hard for him sometimes to let her cry. I get it, it's his first and it's his baby girl. Last night he had to fight not going into her room. She woke up and most of the time he doesn't even hear her I do. I'll lay in bed and if it sounds like she's really upset I'll go check on her and see if everything is ok. Last night I could tell easily she was only crying because she was awake. It was a come get me cry not a I'm upset something is wrong cry. More of fussing than anything. So I told him she's fine she'll be asleep in 20mins tops. After 10mins of stop and go fussing he got up and went to the bathroom. He started to wash a sippy cup then stopped and came back to bed. He's groaning like mmmm my baby. I know it was hard but I'm so glad he didn't go in there. If he had she would have been hysterical if he didn't bring her to our room and with me being 34wks pregnant I would not have allowed that at 3am. Especially since I've been having contractions all night and she likes to kick me. I'm sorry but that kid needs to self sooth and go back to sleep on her own because she's definitely not coming in our bed with a newborn in the room when he's here. So I feel she needs to learn now. Theres just no way I'm going to put myself through that torture. Thankfully she was back to sleep by 3 and we all went back to sleep. She woke up this morning very happy and just babbling away like nothing happened last night.
