Ovulation bleeding?

Give me your thoughts on ovulation bleeding. I'm in the middle of my cycle and expect to O between yesterday and the end of the weekend. Today I had some red spotting in my underwear (TMI!) but when I wiped, it was pink/mostly normal clear. Thoughts? I have been off BC for 3-4 months so I know my body is just getting used to being off it, but I don't usually have mid cycle bleeding like this.
