What are the best, reasonable car seats for baby?

We are shopping around for a car seat and just wanted to get an idea of the best brands. What do you have?

I did a Graco for our first and this time got the Chicco Keyfit. It’s WAY better than the dinky Graco we had.

My husband and I are on our second pregnancy (our first is 16 months old and we are due with second June 9th) and with both we skipped the infant seat and just bought a convertible car seat. It was great with our first so we just bought the exact same one for our second.. I baby wear (LOVE my Moby Wrap!!) so I wouldn't have needed a carrier anyway. We have the Graco My Ride 65 LX and LOVE IT! It is rear facing for 4-40lbs and then can be turned forward facing for up to 65lbs. So basically we spend $100 (ish) on each carseat and won't have to buy another until they are ready for a regular booster seat.

I have the uppababy mesa which is compatible with the stroller for a complete travel system. I loved how light the carseat is and it's not huge.

We have the peg perego primo viaggio. I wouldn’t say it’s the most “reasonable” though lol but we went for what’s going to be extra safe for our babies.

we just got the keyfit 30 based on safety ratings :) I love the clicking sound that I hear when I put the carrier in the car seat base. I've also heard good things about the Graco click connect.
