Car seats for 19 month olds?

I’m shopping around for a new car seat for my lil guy. He’s 19 months old and quite the ham. Pushing 35 lbs and a lil over 35 inches. We’ve had his current one since last summer and I’m honestly just not a fan of it in general anymore. I think it worked better when he was smaller. What kind of seat are using for your 18/19 month old?

we had the c
graco forever for exactly 1 hour, when I packet it all and returned it. my daughter was to cramped in it. I bought the graco forever,  after getting in a car accident ( sued and won) that had my car totalled so I had to replace the chair I had. we figured we get a "better " one. ya right. not so much with the graco forever.
so I returned it and got the same one I had before,  because let's face it, it quite literally saved my daughters life.
we bought our lovely Chico Next Fit again. 
our daughter is 35 inches and 27 lbs. 
chair is big , comfortable and easy to get her in and out if it . I love it.

We also have the graco extend2fit in hubbys car and I don’t like it nearly as much. The straps are a pain in the ass to tighten. Spend the little extra on the 4ever over the extend2fit. Trust me, it’s worth it.

We went with the Britax click tight because of the safety reviews and we travel a lot. It is NOT light, but it is unbelievably easy to install and very heavy duty/secure (we’ve taken it to Hawaii, Alaska, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Washington, DC, and North Carolina via planes and cars with many different vehicles). I absolutely love it. We ended up buying a second one for our other vehicle that his little brother will get to use when he out grows the infant seat. I love Britax so much. He’s done multiple 6 hour road trips in it, and the longest flight he’s been on is 9 hours followed by a 5 hour flight. He seems super comfortable and sleep amazing in it!

We got him a Britax Advocate click tight . It’s very pricey but it’s the safest one there is! It has an extra level of protection, one that almost none other car seat has. We will use it until 65lbs.

This is what we’ve been using since she was 5 months. It fits babies/children 5-100lbs, so we’ll never need to buy another one. (Until we get one for little brother that’s due in a few weeks.)
