Do you breastfeed/bottlefeed/combines feed?

Hi ladies
My hubby and I are due our baby later this year and we are thinking about feeding our little one. I just wondered how everyone else was feeding their little ones? And the reasons why they chose that?

I mostly breastfed and bottlefed breast milk but I also used formula if needed. I went back to work when my daughter was three months so if she was especially hungry one day at daycare and I hadn’t pumped enough milk, she also had formula. Whatever works for you and your family, fed is always best. :)

I chose to breastfeed because it’s simply just what I wanted and felt comfortable with. I’ve been around breastfeeding family members and friends all my life. It’s just my normal. We took a breastfeeding class lead by two Lactation Consultants at our hospital with my first dd. Based on what we learned, have encountered, and researched, breastfeeding was ultimately just what we felt most comfortable with giving our baby. My daughter turned two in March, and still loves to nurse. & I’m due with this LO at the end of September/beginning of October, and I’m hoping to be able to breastfeed that LO too. 
If you do decide breastfeeding is what works best for your family, definitely meet with your hospitals or birth centers Lactation Consultants for their class. Also, let them come in after you deliver. They can give you 1 on 1 time, check your babies latch, any tongue/lip tie, and give you loads of advice/tips tailored to what you and your baby specifically need. When you’re home, have a nursing basket near by! Filled with lots of easy snacks, water, breast pads, & burp cloths. Those first few weeks are pretty rough for a lot of women, with the constant demand of nursing and cluster feeding going on with LO. Oh! & having those Lansinoh (not sure I spelled that right) gel soothies (keep them in the fridge, they’ll feel sooooo good!) and Lansinoh therapearls pads! The soothies can be used in between nursing to ease some discomfort. The therapear pads can be warmed up in the microwave, or kept in the fridge to help with when your milk is coming in and a bit uncomfortable

I bottle fed with formula only because I was unable to produce breastmilk (and I tried everything). It wasn't what I hoped for but they're healthy and happy!

I breastfed and bottle fed breast milk. I think that if your body is able to produce breastmilk, that's what should be given to a baby since it is specifically designed for your baby.

I’m due in August and I’m going to breastfeed at home but pump my breast milk to put in bottles for when we’re out :)

I did combo feeding with my second daughter because she was jaundice and not gaining weight. I had to monitor her intake of breast milk...so for the most part I pumped most of the time in the beginning and would nurse her in between so that she would learn to nurse and not get too used to the bottle. It worked out well and eventually nursed her much more when she started putting on a decent amount of weight. I did combo feeding up until she was a year old.

We did all of them. Breastfed only for the first 2 weeks. Wasn’t supplying him with enough, so we supplemented with formula for another 2. He seemed to be fussier than normal after right every feeding, and had terrible congestion and rashes. We now only bottle feed formula after finding he’s sensitive to milk protein

I choose to exclusively breastfeed because I have a strong milk production. If I would have struggled to produce milk then I wouldn’t have been opposed to supplementing to transitioning to formula. I feel mom guilt whenever I think about transitioning to formula for the simple reason of not wanting to bf anymore.
