Has anyone ever taking provera to help regulate their menstrual ?

I was just prescribed this medicine, and is on day 5 and been trying to get pregnant for 10 months now with no luck. Please share your experience with being on this medicine, also if it helped you conceive. Thank you

I finally started AF like 7 days after starting provera (I only took it for 5 days) and had a very light very short period for 3 days. After that a normal cycle and then AF has been back to regular after that. Still no BFP but it did work to regulate my cycle after a 53+ day cycle.

Took it after being diagnosed with pcos and not getting a period for 7 months... Did the 10 day and on the 11th I got a period, super heavy and long but I’m sure that’s probably because I hadn’t had one in so long. Got a super light period the next month but have started skipping again.. Did work for the time being though!

I took it afterwards I started had a light period then had regular cycles for two months. The third month I had spotting as a period so they prescribed it for 6 months for me.

I also was trying to conceive the first month but after I stopped trying but I didn’t want birth control so I chose the Provera
