Just Condom?

I am curious to see if anyone decided against other types of birth control and just uses condoms? Anyone have good or bad experiences?

I never take BC Because all forms have extremely bad side effects. I have heard way too many horror stories with all of them. & to be honest I’ll never remember to take the pill. I don’t take any kind of medication that isn’t an antibiotic when needed. But that’s just because I’m a nut case when it comes to pharmaceuticals

Only ever used condoms, been sexually active for close to 10 years now. It works for me and I really don't want to mess with my natural hormones by going on the pill or getting an IUD or anything (I already have a thyroid disorder, don't want other hormones messing with my body). I hate the smell of latex, so I buy fruit flavored condoms.

I used just condoms for a while until I became interested in finding another method. I waited until I had done enough research to determine that the implant was right for me. The benefit of this for me (versus just condoms) is that it can help lessen my negative period symptoms and prevent pregnancy. I’ve had no problems with just condoms though.

I only use condoms right now and it works for me. However, I am searching for another method as my partner is not a fan of this method. We are working together to find a compromise because I cannot take hormonal birth control with the other medications I currently take. Fingers crossed we can find something that suits us both, and we can move forward with the family planning we already have decided upon (as we are young and want to wait).
Any advice is greatly appreciated! :-)

I’ve noticed more problems off birth control- it helped my periods but that’s the main reason now my body is having a hard time getting used to being without it I am 6 months TCC and my hormones are still not regular
