I really love the names Eric, Ethan and Emmanuel. I am a Christian and the Name Emmanuel is very beautiful and meaningful. It means God is with us (Immanuel). Hubby likes the meaning of the name but doesn’t like the name. He loves the name Eric and I do as well it means (always strong). I having a difficult time with this pregnancy because I want something that’s very meaningful to my husband and I. When we were pregnant with my daughter I had a student in my class named Emily. She was a very sweet and free spirited little girl. One day I bawled my eyes it crying as her parents were telling me that she would need to have open heart surgery because of some health issues she was having. I know nowadays these procedures are a lot safer then they were back in the day but there was still a high chance something could’ve happened to her. Anyways she had her surgery and missed a couple of days of school. When she came back she was her normal self. She didn’t care about her scar from her surgery. She was also very positive and encouraging of her peers. So I knew then and there that I wanted to name my daughter Emily too. So it was easy for us to name her because we named her after that little girl that impacted my life. But this time around I’m having a hard time picking a name for my son. Any suggestions?
