So I like this guy...

So basically this guy has liked me since the beginning of the year. I ended up dating one of his best friends not knowing that. So basically me and him have been talking and he has said that he likes me. but the problem is is that he is popular, and one of my friends (who is a girl) is friends w/ him and says that I shouldn’t get with him cuz he has a lot of friends that are girls and I can see that. I wanna go out with him but I also don’t want to end up finding out he is cheating on me with one of his “friends”. What should I do?!?
