Miscarriage risk?

Hey ladies,
If you have an early scan at 7/8 weeks and you hear the heartbeat and the measurements are all good does that mean you’re less at risk of a miscarriage?

I think the risks drop quite a bit if a heartbeat is heard after 7 weeks

My experience was different. I had an early ultrasound at 6w2d and there was a very strong heartbeat, everything looked normal. Then at my next ultrasound at 8 weeks. Baby was measuring right but the heartbeat stopped. I had a missed miscarriage. Things can happen anyway, I am currently 5 weeks and hoping for the best. Good luck and stay positive and calm that’s the best we can do.

Once you hear the heartbeat in general, there’s a smaller risk of having one.
