can someone explain to me how exactly the pill is still effective on your 7 day break? Google doesn’t tell me and I’m confused as hell

The pill is said to not be effective on your 7 day break but because you didn’t ovulate it is very unlikely for you to get pregnant. However a condom is still recommended at this point

I can't find any info unfortunately on how exactly you are still protected on your placebo week except that the hormones are still actively in your system from the first 3 weeks. But yes, you are protected as long as you are taking the pills correctly.
