When to stop birth control!

Hi guys!

I am getting married to the love of my life in September! We are extremely excited and want to start a family ASAP!

For the past 2 years i have been on the Nuva ring, and for 3 prior to that i had an implant.

Since it takes a while for your body to go back to normal, i was wondering when I should stop using birth control. I want to abstain from the actual deed the last 2-3 months before the wedding, and obviously i don’t want to get pregnant before the wedding. But, i forgot to put a new ring in when i went away for work, and i have been in the mood, everyday. So if this is the precursor to not being on birth control, then i really have to commit to abstaining.
