BC & Progesterone

I am already on progesterone for irregular periods so it’s supposed to be helping to regulate. I had unprotected sex and even though he didn’t ejaculate in me I tend to be very paranoid so I took the morning after pill affera

I was wondering if the fact that I’m on progesterone affect the morning after pill. Like would it counteract it. I have read progesterone helps to get pregnant but I have also read the opposite.
