I’m 19 and not on the pill. Condoms are me and my significant others’ only form of birth control. I’m afraid to tell my mother that it may be wise to get me on it.. I’m unsure of how to tell her I’ve been sleeping with someone and am worried of an unexpected pregnancy. Should I stress my concerns to her?

I’m also worried about how the pill will affect me and my body. Or how long it will take to find the right one for me. I don’t really have a gynecologist either so it’s not like I can schedule an appointment with my doctor.

I’m obviously open to opinions- they’re more than welcome! 🤦🏼‍♀️
