Red Marks???

Question

I got the implant back in February and at some point these red marks showed up on my stomach. I noticed them in March but I really don’t want to go to the doc unless I have to. I was hoping they’d go away on their own but so far they haven’t. Does anyone have any clue what this is all about?

Those are just stretch marks . They won't go away.

stretch marks. they never go away. they're from gaining weight quickly, hence why pregnant women get them. they can fade with certain body butters made for pregnant women but you'll always have them

Thanks everyone! I figured they were stretch marks but I just wanted to check cuz they’re the first stretch marks I’ve gotten. I’m trying to be positive about it, and my boyfriend is helping me with that. I really just need to stop tying my self-worth to my appearance, but that’s a really tough thing to do.

Stretch marks are created after rapid weight gain....those will be your tiger stripes for the rest of your life.... but it’s okay girl ... that’s what every women eventually gets and I’m not here to scare you but to try to comfort you... most of us have them. I got them on my hips ... they come in red and a month of coco butter lotion made mine fade.... they’re there but less visible and guess what MEN HVE THEM TOO ... my fiancé has them on his shoulders and inner thighs ..... I don’t love him any less ... it’s okay , I promise

stretch marks! but listen, I've gotten mine to fade away! try equal parts coconut oil, Neosporin, and olive oil (maybe a little less olive oil than the other two). you only need to make a tiny amount. rub it on the area 2 times a day for a month or two. 
ive only been applying it to 1/2 of my stretch marks so I could compare. it doesn't get rid of them completely but the difference is AMAZING! 
My friend calls hers feisty stripes lol. they are normal and beautiful.

They’re just stretch marks from your skin stretching out quickly. You can even get them from constantly scratching the same spot. Mine look like that too but are a different color cause I have dark skin. My husband has red ones like yours cause he’s light skin. Don’t worry about them! Nothing serious. They fade with time

Stretch marks! They don't ever go away, but they do eventually fade to where they're silvery and not very noticeable. Use certain creams if you want to try to speed the process up.

stretch marks CAN fade, but will be slightly visible with a slight shimmer look if the light catches it. You can fade these marks by applying products like this.

When I was 12 I had a major growth spurt and I got stretch marks EVERYWHERE. My breasts, my biceps, my thighs, my knees, my calves, my stomach.
