More feminine spelling ?

I love the name Emerson. But if we have a girl I want to keep the name, but use a more feminine spelling “Emersyn”. I think it would also be pronounced more feminine this way. What do you think?in

Changing the spelling doesn’t change the name. Its still the same name at the end of the day. I also don’t think changing the spelling makes it “feminine”, it just makes its spelled wrong.

Emerson means son of Emery, so I would change to Emersyn.

I love the name, and I agree the "y" helps make it a little more feminine! Our daughters name is Charlee, and we did "ee" rather than "ie" in hopes it would seem more feminine. And I've found that when people read the name, they assume girl with that spelling, and I think "Emersyn" will be the same!
