I need help.
So, let me explain this from the beginning. Around November of last year or January of this year, somewhere between there, I had decided to get on the Depo shot. I was sexually active and I still am now. Around March, it was time for me to take another shot. I would have spots of blood here and there and I knew it was time. Whenever I went to the doctor for my next shot- I was told that I wasn’t pregnant and that I could go to the pharmacy for it. When I got there, it was 100$ for the shot. I laughed and told them I’m not paying that when I had gotten my shot for free at the doctor’s office my first time. No biggie! I will just be more careful when having sex. So, I continue to make love to my hubby when we feel up to it and everything is going well. That was in March I must tell you. In March, I never I had my period and now, in May, I STILL don’t have my period. I haven’t seen a doctor yet about it- which I know I should! I do get cramps but when I do- they are HORRIBLE so much to the part to where I puke! I can also tell when my period should be coming because I will tend to get bloated and nauseous. I’ve always had very bad period and that’s also another reason as to why I wanted to get on the Depo shot to begin with. I’ve also had bad ovarian cysts as well that would pop when I would have my period but I haven’t been having a period so, I’m thinking those cramps are coming from ovarian cysts popping and me just not noticing what it could be. I’m starting to get really concerned. I will also be buying a pregnancy test later on today. What I need help with is, questions being answered... Has this happened to anybody else? Can Depo shot make me not have a period even though I’m not on it anymore? Are the pregnancy test just horrible and I may actually be? It’s all frustrating. I’m also from Louisiana so if anybody from there is on here; is there any good doctors that you suggest I go see? I will keep this updated! Thank you so much in advance!
