I have several big Endometriomas on my ovaries and currently on our 2nd round of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> 💉.

I hadn’t seen my doc in a couple months and came in for the first ultrasound to which she sighed and said, “gosh it’s nice to see you, but I can’t say the same for your ovaries - these are just crazy”.

For visit no 2 today she brought in another doctor to my ultrasound to “show my fascinating ovaries” as she maneuvered around the Endometriomas and searched for any follicles on the screen.

She means it all in a funny way and I actually appreciate her humor! Makes me less concerned and feel like having to deal with these are at least going to be an interesting ride, and a challenge she’s willing to take on, rather than the complication that they really are. What’s funny is I don’t know any better - like, what does a non-endometriosis ovary look like?!
