Pineapple at 34 weeks?

Question

Is it safe to have some pineapple at 34 weeks pregnant. I know it can have some affect on the cervix and uterus, so I just want to be safe. It would be about a cup just in a smoothie

I've been eating pineapple my entire pregnancy. It's one of my favorites. I would say it's like sex.

Yes I was so desperate to get my first out after her due date I ate so much pineapple and she never came on her own lol I was induced at 41 weeks

I just had some twice last week and I'm 37w. No issues with eating it. My OB said today that my cervix was soft but not dilated which was good. 
When I ate a lot during 16 weeks (2 whole pineapples in a week) I had some bleeding so I stopped eating it until again just recently. I'd say use your judgement & moderation depending on how far you are

I didn’t even know this was a thing. I ate pineapples my entire pregnancy and even up to yesterday afternoon. I’m 34 + 4 weeks today. I feel fine.

You’d have to eat like 7 pineapples a day for it to be effective in bringing on contractions lol you’re safe hun. When I was pregnant with my second all I ever wanted was pineapple shakes and fresh pineapples.

I eat at least 1 pineapple a week. Lol I'm hoping it helps when my body decides it's time, but really, I just love pineapple and have been eating it the whole pregnancy! lol
