So I went to an acupuncturist for fertility and I’m kinda confused. She rambled on and on about the temperature of your body in the first half vs second half of your cycle. She stuck two needles in my lower back and said there was a reaction on the left and that my body is warm when it shouldn’t be and that I need to treat this with eating cold foods before ovulation and hot foods after and that’s it. I asked if she put needles in certain areas for blood flow to my reproductive organs or something like that and she said nope it’s all just done with controlling your temperature. Is that really all there is for acupuncture for infertility??? I was really excited to go and now I feel disappointed and I’m wondering if I should look for someone else. ☹️
