Excuse not to drink???

Hi,
 I'm newly pregnant 🤗
I have a bachelorette party in a few weeks. My friends will be suspicious if I dont drink but it is too early to announce the pregnancy. Any ideas on excuses I can give for not drinking?

Just say you’re going through fertility treatments and your doc put you on new meds. That way, they’ll feel bad and not keep asking questions and also you don’t have to hid it all weekend.

Is it an away thing or at a local bar/place: say your the DD.
You have to work early. 
You could have a headache or upset tummy.

honestly just have a quiet word with the bachorlrette and tell her your pregnant but it's really early days and you don't want anyone to know yet..  for my hen party (UK version!) one of the girls used the antibiotics excuse and it was just so obvious, I'd rather she just said something to me and I could have helped distract the pressure away from her

I was doing a summer diet called a month without.  I found out I was pregnant the month prior and used that as an excuse not to drink.

Someone else on here suggested saying you are doing whole 30 or some sort of diet/cleanse. I loved that idea. You just obviously have to make sure the food you eat matches up with your story.

I used “it’s my New Years resolution”. But then again this was in Jan/feb lol
