Anxiety..?

Anyone dealing with first trimester anxiety? This is my first time being pregnant and we have wanted this for a while and now I’m afraid something will go wrong even though I know this is out of my hands...any advice on coping? My first appointment isn’t until the 31st and I am 5 weeks and having such a wide range of emotions! Thank you

Right there with you ladies!! I'm 4 weeks and 3 days, approximately... I went to the doctor to confirm that I am pregnant today, tomorrow I will call an OB and make my 8 week appointment. It is so scary and exciting all at the same time, I am trying to focus on the happiness and excitement and occasionally I let myself feel a little bit of the fear, but not for long because I know I will just dwell on the negative if I'm not careful. I know this is hard and easier said than done, but I have depression and anxiety with panic attacks and I have worked hard to be able to control my thoughts the small amount that I can!!

yes definitely! especially because I had a miscarriage a couple months ago at 6 weeks. I'm 5w3d now and don't have a ton of symptoms which also has me worried but my test lines are getting darker...I'm just trying to tell myself that everything happens for a reason and that worrying doesn't help anything and that there's nothing I can do about it if it happens again so I might as well relax and be happy

Yes!! I have it bad!! I’m 5 weeks as well and my appointment is on the 31st also!! What’s helped me is I bought a book explaining pregnancy each week so it keeps my mind occupied on what to expect each week!

I’m so anxious! We’ve been trying for about 9 months and finally got bfp. However, I will be 8 weeks the day we leave for our “honeymoon” that we had scheduled for this summer. Because of the long vacation, my doctor can’t get me in until June 25! I will be 10 and a half weeks 😩 The unknown is what scares me so much. I just want to talk to someone about everything before I leave.
