So I found out my boyfriend was sexually assaulted when he was a child, I didn’t get many details I was just telling him about something similar that had happened to me and he said he understood and something bad happened to him when he was five and he remembers it all. I brought it up later that night and thanked him for telling me and that I was always there for him but this man is so amazing he’s been through so much and i just stare and marvel at what a wonderful person he’s turned into. I was raped when I was 16 and so I understand in a way, but I can’t believe the people in this world.
